Wellens também Vence o Contra-Relógio na Andalucia!
Depois de ter ganho a etapa de abertura da Ruta del Sol, o líder da Lotto Soudal Tim Wellens também obteve a vitória no contra-relógio. Ele terminou os 16,3 km entre Mancha Real e La Guardia de Jaén em 22 minutos e 25 segundos. Desta forma, ele venceu os companheiros de equipa da Astana, Jakob Fuglsang e Ion Izagirre, com dois e nove segundos, respectivamente. O belga de 27 anos amplia a sua vantagem da CG para sete segundos.
