Le Français Valentin Paret-Peintre remporte sa première victoire au Giro d'Italia. Romain Bardet et Jan Tratnik complètent le podium. Journée émotionnelle pour Paret-Peintre alors qu'il remporte la victoire un an après que son frère Aurélien ait remporté l'Étape 4 du 106e Giro d'Italia.

Valentin Paret-Peintre (Équipe Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale) a remporté l'Étape 10 du 107e Giro d'Italia, longue de 142 km de Pompéi à Cusano Mutri (Bocca della Selva). Romain Bardet (Équipe DSM-Firmenich PostNL) et Jan Tratnik (Équipe Visma | Lease a Bike) ont terminé respectivement deuxième et troisième.
